The Minister of Health and Chairman of the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah chaired the first meeting of the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance after its restructuring at the headquarters of the Council's General Secretariat in Riyadh.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister welcomed the new members after the issuance of the Council of Ministers' Resolution to appoint them for a period of 3 years and wished them success.

The Council's Secretary General, Dr. Shabab bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, gave a presentation on the Council's performance during the previous period, and the recent developments that accompanied the health insurance market, in addition to the strategic transformation plan of the Council for 2030, which aims to raise the quality of health care services through raising the efficiency of health insurance.

The Council then discussed the listed topics on the agenda, and discussed a number of resolutions in addition to the formation of a number of committees.
