He confirmed that these e-services inaugurated by the Secretariat General are in line with the national plan headed by the e-government program. He added that the development of institutions and sectors and the quality of their performance are measured by how they employ technology in the services provided to their staff. Providing governmental e-services has become a reality in many governmental sectors. That has urged the Secretariat- General to employ technology in all its departments, link the electronic systems at the Secretariat General together in one computer network of high universal standards, and provide electronic services. Mr. Abdulrahman Rajab Abu Al-Sha'ar, supervisor in the Applied Systems Department in the Administration of Information Technology, said that the electronic gate seeks to provide all information in the easiest way to all beneficiaries and offer integrated electronic services to complete all transactions electronically from one place without using different systems or losing passwords. He added that there is no need to bother when searching for events, news, and circulars that benefit the employee as the internal gate of the Secretariat- General is the main gate for all of them. He also added that the gate has been established using the latest technology in the field of Web design through the use of "SharePoint 2013," which provides great features. Moreover, the internal gate enables all departments to convert traditional paper forms to fully electronic forms. Now, different departments can enter all of their forms with the terms and conditions specified by the beneficiary party so that the application is full and sound without any lack of information. Regarding the extent to which the employee will benefit from the gate, he said that the employee can know about all his administrative data (i.e., vacations, salary details, inventory, etc.), get circulars smoothly and easily, find out about news and activities of the Secretariat- General, have the ability to browse media library, in addition to other services. It is worth mentioning that the gate of e-services program is a giant project that the Administration of Information Technology has begun to implement under the direct guidance of His Excellency the Secretary General and the supervision of His Excellency the Deputy Secretary General of Technical Affairs in order to achieve the desired objectives of the plan.
